It’s Hot Out There!

It’s getting really hot.

And licensing requires you to spend time outside every day. Let’s make the most of it by setting up some fun activities outside on the playground!

To get you started, here’s some fun outdoor activities to think about…

  • Rock painting – with either tempera paint or water
  • Paint with water – sidewalks, walls, fences, each other…
  • Bubbles – make bubble solution together and then give it a try outside
  • Water table – fill your water table with ice
  • Chalk drawings – if you want to make it really fun, have some buttermilk for kids to dip chalk into
  • Picnics – breakfast, snacks, lunch – it’s always fun to eat outdoors
  • Story time – take learning outside!
  • Tricycle/bike car wash – maybe even let them put some oil on the wheels
  • Baby doll baths – you can do this in the water table or in buckets
  • Blocks of ice – will your kids sit on them?

And don’t forget to stock up on a bunch of those battery operated fan spray bottles!
